Do you know where the salt in the ocean comes from?

The salt in the ocean's saltwater isn't just sodium chloride - the elements that make up our table salt."Salt" water contains not just sodium and chloride, but magnesium, potassium, calcium, and other elements. In fact, it is thought that all the naturally-occurring elements on Earth are present in the ocean in some amount.
