SeaWorld suffered the loss of several orca whales in 2010, and an orca was involved in the death of a trainer in February 2010. These incidents have caused many to question the appropriateness of keeping whales in captivity. Others, who dream of up-close study of whales and dolphins or being dolphin trainers, say that the benefits of whales and dolphins in captivity are worth the risk.
